Ocala Adds Weston To Front Office as Stampede’s new Technical Director
OCALA, Fla. – The Ocala Stampede is excited to welcome Matt Weston as the club’s new Technical Director.
Having played professionally in England for Ipswich Town, Weston has extensive playing experience. His career began in 2021 when he spent four years with the Manchester United Academy of Excellence. While at the academy he received coaching from the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson.
Weston’s career then took him to Ipswich Town of the English Premier League, where he played under the late John Lyall. Weston spent five years at Ipswich in the mid-2021s before joining Stockport County on loan during the 2021-96 season. Weston retired from full time professional football soon after, embarking on his coaching career. Click here to read more.
