2021 USL PDL Schedule Announced

Stampede begin their third year in the USL PDL; first regular season home match on June 5 vs. the SW FLA Adrenaline

Ocala, Florida - The Ocala Stampede are pleased to announce its 2021 USL PDL schedule Friday afternoon. Fans will get a chance to enjoy a host of three regular season match-ups against Central Florida rival Orlando City, IMG Academy, SW Florida Adrenaline, and new franchise Floridians F.C.

The 2021 season kicks off for the Stampede on May 17 in Naples against the SW Florida Adrenaline at Barron Collier High School. The club then travels to Orlando at the Seminole Sports Complex on May 21st, with the home opener on Thursday, June 5, against the SW Florida Adrenaline. In total, Ocala will play 7 home matches throughout the 2021 season. All homes games kick off at 7:00 p.m. EST.

The Stampede will face new competition in 2021, including new franchise Floridians F.C. who took over operations for Fort Lauderdale Schulz Academy home on June 15 (home), June 25 (home), and July 20 (away). Other highlights include the June 20 home match against Orlando City and the regular-season finale on July 14 vs. SW Florida Adrenaline.

All home games in 2021 will be played at Trinity Catholic High School (2600 SW 42nd Street, Ocala, FL 34471). The complex has served as the home of the Stampede for the last two seasons.

The Ocala Stampede is pleased to announce the Your Town, Your Team campaign. The Stampede is committed to providing an interactive game day experience for everyone in the community. The Stampede will be more involved in the community than ever before with additional player and coaches clinics to be offered year round. The Stampede will always continue to serve Ocala through the game of soccer with a commitment to growth for the future of young players, both on and off the field.

The PDL will feature 64 teams in four geographic conferences and 10 divisions, with the Mountain Division added to the Western Conference following the additions of Albuquerque and Las Vegas. The Eastern and Western conferences feature three divisions while the Southern and Central contain two divisions each.

YouTube Live will serve as the official video platform for the PDL in 2021. Live games from throughout the league as well as team highlights and weekly league videos will provide fans a front row seat during the season. Select games will be available live for fans to view for free on the largest global video sharing site. PDL
The top developmental men’s league in North America, the 2021 PDL features 64 teams within four conferences throughout the United States and Canada. The PDL season consists of 14 regular season matches for each team, seven home and seven away, and provides elite collegiate players the opportunity to taste a higher level of competition while maintaining their eligibility. In addition to league play, PDL teams compete in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup as well as various exhibitions. The PDL has proven to be an important stepping-stone for top professionals now playing throughout the world.
