Ocala Stampede named finalist for PDL Organization of the Year and PDL Executive of the Year.

The United Soccer Leagues announced on Tuesday that the Ocala Stampede has been nominated as finalists for two USL Organizational Awards that will be presented at the annual USL AGM in December. The club is among the finalist for the USL PDL Organization of the Year as well as Owner/President Bill Reed being nominated for USL PDL Executive of the Year.

“We are very honored with the nominations and recognition for these awards. All of the teams in this league put a lot of work into what they do on and off the field and we are very fortunate to be finalists for these awards”, Stampede Executive Director Cheyne Roberts said. “There are a lot of people that are a part of this organizational family and this is great recognition for them and for this community.”

This will be the third consecutive year the Ocala Stampede has been nominated for USL Organizations Awards. In 2021, the Stampede was nominated as Rookie Franchise of the Year and the Betsy McAdams Key Grip Award. The Ocala Stampede was among the finalists for the Broadcast Award in the league in 2021. Among the award nominations, the Ocala Stampede have found recent success on the field winning the Southeast Division (2021, 2021, 2021), Southern Conference (2021) and ending as a National Semi-Finalist (2021).
